Another Comment on The Moses Code Movie

Friday, April 11th, 2008

This clip is from an article by Wendy Garrett and her comments on The Moses Code. She made a comment about what exists with us and I would like to expand on that.

clipped from www.americanchronicle.com

As as an Intuitive, I call it birthing. You cannot create that which does not exist within you. That statement levels no judgment. We create all that we can envision and all that which we can elevate our ability to fathom; and from that ensuing creation and mis-creation, we all evolve.

  blog it

I would like to take the previous comment and expand on it by also saying that as the beings we are described in the movie, we are all things so we can create all things. When we are in our unconditional and responsible space, we are not in our own way and we can create anything. We are the sum of our creations, both conditional and unconditional. I would also like to add that we also cannot see in another what doesn’t exist within ourselves. When we react to a situation, or to something that someone else said or did, we are actually reacting to that thing that lives within ourselves that we are judging.

Teleseminar on Self Esteem and the Esteemed Self

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

Wow!  That was a powerful teleseminar we had on Tuesday the 9th, and those of you who weren’t able to make it, we did record it.

To briefly recap, we discussed the answers to some of the questions that were presented and we also discussed the meaning of the esteemed self and self esteem.

Some of the really key points that get you to pause in your thinking are the relationship between truth and resistance.  If we are experiencing an event in our lives where we are reacting or making excuses, and not standing in the unconditional responsibility of the experience, we are denying ourselves the opportunity to receive some insight which will helps us discover the truth.  The truth is what is motivating us to do the things we do.  As long as we are not conscious of our motivations, we cannot do things differently if we are not happy with our current situation.

We also discussed the answer to a question someone had about money and if they had money could they not be spiritual.  It’s not having the money that  makes you not spiritual, it’s the idolization of money that gets in your way.  You may need a large amount of money in your life to be able to serve those around you in the best way that you know how.  You are always supported in your highest priority.

We also discussed the term ’self esteem’ and how that sets up a conflict in our subconscious mind because of the duality of definitions these two words create together in this way.  As we use these words in our communication with ourselves and others, it affects how we create our reality.  We did a cool excercise where we could see how both of the terms ’self estem’ and ‘esteemed self’ was experienced in our body.

The underlying concept of the topic in the teleseminar is that  we can choose our experiences based upon what we choose, which is either fear or love.

I’m not doing the entire teleseminar justice, I would need to listen to it again to be able to provide even more  insight to what was said on the teleseminar.  If we make the recording available, I will let everyone know if you are on the mailing list.

What is Gratitude?

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

Gratitude is not an action but a state of being. When you are in gratitude, you are in a state of being that is allows you to receive. If we bring in the concept that we are all one, and whatever we put out into the world, we receive, then you can really see how being in gratitude is really about ourselves, and not the other person. Gratitude is not based upon what you think you should receive, or what you think they should do, Gratitude is about you alone, and is completely unconditional.
If someone expects gratitude, they are not allowing the other person to receive, because gratitude will have been given conditionally, and that robs the person giving the gratitude their ability to receive.

The Moses Code – My Experiences (Spoilers)

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

Yesterday, I saw the movie “The Moses Code” . I had heard it was “The Secret 2″, and although I had never seen the movie The Secret, I was interested in what this movie was about. One of the complaints about The Secret was that it focused on material things, such as “I want to make this much money” or “I want that type of car”. I can’t really add my own comments because I haven’t seen the movie.

The movie started out and had my interest….. What was the code that was lost to humankind for thousands of years? And then we were told what the code was…. It’s not what you might think. I’ll leave you in suspense…

In any rate, by the end of the film, I felt that it wasn’t as interesting as “What the Bleep” because it was a series of people speaking. Some of the people who were at the viewing felt like they were being lectured to. The movie was only an hour long, and with that format, you wouldn’t want it to be much longer. It ended at just the right time because I was just about ready to lose interest in the movie as I felt like I was hearing the same message over again.

Some points I feel where the movie missed out, or could have incorporated.

  1. Their presentation of the Ego in relation to the rest of us. – The ego was presented as the thing that gets in our way in terms of expereincing God. It was something that we have to control and keep in check. Well, we are supposed to have an ego. It is a part of us like our heart and soul are. The problem isn’t about keeping the ego in check, it’s about keeping the ego in balance. The difference is that with the former, it is coming from a fear based place, that the ego is something that we have to fear, so we have to “control” it so it doesn’t get out of hand. With the later, it is coming from a place of love, where we respect and honor the ego so we want to keep it in balance so it can play the role in our lives that it was supposed to play…. being our uniqueness. The Ego can be out of balance just like our heart can be out of balance, or our soul can be out of balance. Any of these things that our out of balance can get in our way in terms of experiencing God, not just the ego.
  2. Either the movie missed the main point, or it was covered in the way it was presented and I didn’t pick it up, but where I feel that they wanted to go with the movie was that in the end, it is all about being love. When you are being love, you don’t see separation, you know your purpose, you are supported by the universe, etc. I feel the movie spent so much time on the intermediate steps, that the main point was easily lost.
  3. When you are being unconditional, you experience ease, grace, and abundance. When you are being conditional, you experience loss, lack and illness. A few of the people that were interviewed were expressing their opinions from a conditional framework, and I felt that that took away from some of the power of the movie. An example was one of the speakers was talking about why does someone need 4 cars…. and then admits to having 80 pairs of shoes! A perfect example of judging someone else and therefore judging yourself. I feel that in it’s sense to differentiate itself from the Secret and not being materialistic, it went in the other direction and became conditional (judgmental). Judgments also bring you loss, lack and illness. In terms of why would someone need 4 cars, they may require that support from the universe so that they can serve in the highest way that they can (another key point in the movie – serving or giving). Just like that speaker may require 80 pairs of shoes because that supports her in being able to serve in the best way that she can.

Those were just a few of the things that came up with the movie. All and all, it was inspiring, and I feel that those that liked “What the Bleep” will get something out of this, and also maybe those that saw “The Secret” will as well.

Just my experiences…. Please feel free to share yours!

Perception of Love verses True Love

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

If my core is love, “Where,” I asked “could any cycle of conditional
fear-based reactions to life experiences possibly be coming
from?”

This question evolved into this empowering awareness.
Anger/fear/upsets births when you think you are NOT able to
give or receive according to your personal conditional perception
and subconscious understanding of what you think is love.
Upset of any kind can not be created in love. Love just is and
has no conditions around its existence. Upsets occurs because
every human being lives by and through love alone, therefore if
our conditional perception of love is being threatened, anger/
fear/upsets go off like warning bells and red flags because you
think you have to fight to the end to hang on to what you think
is love.

Understanding how you formed this inner and outer conditional
perception of love—opens you to revealing your subconscious
beliefs that hold you back from receiving sooner rather than later.
These are the beliefs which create conditionally or
unconditionally your life experiences. Conditionally you receive
loss, lack, upset, struggle and illness. Unconditionally your
receive grace, ease and abundance. It simply is what it is.
LOVE JUST IS… BECAUSE YOU ARE. Perceptions or
determinations of needing, or wanting to define love and place
it tightly and ever so neatly in a controlled thinking box ends up
in various degrees of being conditional. Over time, you will
become more mindful in how your perception of love guides
each choice you make.

Have fun and laugh at what you will discover.

Upset only keeps conditions in place. The truth of love is simple.

Love is not definable. It is way beyond definition. Thank God for
that because without definition, love is allowed to remain whole,
never ‘fragmented’ in a BILLION pieces of what is expected.
Indefinable, it is allowed to simply be love. Its guiding light
allows you to remember your individual uniqueness, your true
life purpose, and will support you into being strong in both.
Conditions always and without exception, create different losses,
lack and illness. In The Choice Is Mine Course material, you will
unravel this amazing puzzle of you, your perception of love and
how knowing each will open you to your life purpose.
